These terms apply to this website (holdingpoint.ai) and the demonstration at demo.holdingpoint.ai. Holding Point is operated by its founder, Shane Severn, in Western Australia. By using the website or the demonstration you agree to these terms. If you use the Holding Point product under an agreement with us, that agreement applies to the product instead.

What the website and demonstration are for

The website describes Holding Point. The demonstration shows how the product works, using the manuals of Demo Airways, a fictional airline, together with publicly available regulatory guidance. The fictional manuals were written for the demonstration and do not describe any real airline's procedures.

Nothing on the website or in the demonstration is operational guidance. Do not use it to make decisions about the operation of an aircraft, and do not treat it as a substitute for your airline's manuals, training or instructions. Answers in the demonstration are generated by an AI system and may contain mistakes.

Using the demonstration

Access to the demonstration is by password. When you use it, please:

• keep the password to yourself unless we have agreed you can share it;
• not enter real airline documents, personal information or anything confidential;
• not try to get around the sign-in, the usage limits or other security measures;
• not copy content from the website or the demonstration by automated means, or use it to train other AI systems.

We may change, limit or withdraw the demonstration, or a person's access to it, at any time.

Content and ownership

The text, design, software and fictional manuals on the website and in the demonstration belong to Holding Point. The photographs are the founder's own. You may share links to the website and quote short passages with attribution.

Public documents used in the demonstration remain the property of their publishers. Material from the United States Federal Aviation Administration is in the public domain. Material from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority is © Commonwealth of Australia.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the website and the demonstration free of charge, as they are, and we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of them.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded or limited.

Links to other websites

The website links to sites run by others, such as regulators. We are not responsible for their content.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
